Motion painting is an experiment in the drama of color interacting with surface. The paintings were filmed live at Empty Stage Studios in Poughkeepsie, New York, in April and May 2003. Editing was completed at Überkatze Studio in June of the same year. No digital effects were used. What you see is the result of various common substances and pigments moving across a variety of planes.
